Everything Can Be Art

Hypocrisy

This collection is an exploration on whether "effort" is the sole factor in whether or not something is "art". The photos are intentionally taken to be boring and mundane - with no interesting subject matter or thought put into either the composition or lighting. The pictures should, I hope, be more boring than interesting.

The photos are little more than me pressing a button on my camera.

I can only hope that nothing about any of the photos will be remarkable or of any interest to anyone. It is my purest intention to bore any viewers and make them reflect upon whether art requires any actual effort to be put into it. In fact - the effort I put into these photos is considerably less effort than what most people put into writing prompts for AI-generated artwork.

I call them art - and so they are. I am under no delusion and make no claims for it being "good art" or even "good photography" - but it is art.
